Remember a few months ago it was announced Bradford Council were cutting back their gardening services.
Not good for us but places like Ilkley will not notice much difference.

Well now Bradford City center has a new temporary garden

A TEMPORARY garden opens to the public later this week on the site of the former city centre police station, The Tyrls, which was demolished earlier this year.

Contractors are due to begin removing the hoardings around the garden today, which will unveil the new public area next to City Park.

The key site has been earmarked by Bradford Council for an office development, but until recently part of the old police station building remained so the underground cells could continue to be used by the neighbouring magistrates' court.

Now the garden will remain in place while a developer is found for the office blocks.

The area has been landscaped and flower beds, grass and seating have been installed.

Its like Silsden does not exist but they want Bradford to look nice with our council tax
