This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

It would seem that after many years of complaining from the town council and others that West Yorkshire Police are now getting the message that we need bobbies on the beat in Silsden.

It would appear that the current excellent team of PCSO's and constables etc are now gaining the local knowledge required for policing the town. It's a pleasure to say well done!

But don't let's get complacent, there is still a long way to go, keep up the good work lads and give Silsden the service that it deserves and pays for.

After all it's still the best little town in Yorkshire! happy :)

Peter - I think it would be a good idea to close this topic as we've now wandered off.
