Hi, My name is Karen. nee Rawnsley and I was born in Silsden. My family left Silsden and moved to Australia in December 1963. Dad (Wilfred) Mum (Joan) Sister (Ann remained in England for a time) Brothers (Alan & Les) and Younger sister (Sara). Does anyone rememer us. |

Hi Karen How old were you in 1963? can you post a family photo, I'm good at face's , but not all that good remembering names? I myself lived up Bolton Road in 1963, and attended aireview school..  |

Dear All I was in Silsden in the 60s & I have had a reply back on my request for info from Graham Mears but I can't get a picture to post on the site, for more help as picture help a lot more. Hi Graham, There was an Alison Coe and a Barbara Wainwright in my year level at school. Also Hazel Jones was one of my friends. Hazel and heer family also came to Australia in the early 60's. They settled in Sydney I believe. Do any of tthese names rig a bell. |

Hi Anne I remember you we lived at 15 kent ave getting back to the Rawnsleys ,sadly Wilf passed away some years ago and when we were out there last year Joan was still alive ,but very ill and was in a home ,she didnt reconise any one |
