So we probably all know what it's like in Silsden. The main road is passable with care, at least from Memorial Gardens heading towards bypass. Bypass is also passable with care. I managed to get to Crossflatts with no difficulty.

I don't know what it's like getting up cringles, saw a few vehicles heading that way when I went down the road to have a reccy.

let us know what it's like where you are...

Can I just thank the ignorant 4x4 chappy who gave me lip for struggling to get up Cornwall Avenue...

I could not go up and the car did not want to role back either, so got out to walk home and get son to help dig me out. The 4x4 driver rolled down his window and got abusive/sarcastic about blocking the road off, no attempt to get out and help....

But thanks goes out to ROOFRACK... Thanks for getting the car back home for me.

How very different the attitude of neighbours can be, by the way roofrack is not a 4x4 driver so maybe that has somthing to do with it????

4x4 paranoia wink ;) love it..........

Thought this thread was for the useful purpose of updating people on the snow not slagging other drivers off!

No gritters on Waterside today by the way, looks like the bus has given up 'cos of all those sliding up the hills polishing the roads sad :(

its not moving up here on south view, amazing how many thick idiots think that its a good idea to drive above the speed limited in the snow!
I had the the 4x4 out today all around the area (for the sake of the ozone you know) All main roads are pretty clear. go steady tho.
Malham is not passable in a Ford Focus.

That was me and another bloke who did the bottom, if you catch it before cars compact its not too bad. If everyone you is physically able cleared a bit it could be better for everyone

Nice one Gazzer, although I was at work my kids turned out and cleared paths around our house. Wouldn't want them on the road tho, too many numpties around.

Boss just rang on his way home from work, going towards Skipton and told me roads are pretty good, so I don't need to leave work early....cheers for that boss! wink ;)
