Item 6 on the next Silsden Town Council meeting (8 Oct 2015) 6. Yellow lining update to be noted both outside the football ground Keighley Rd and the bottom of Skipton Rd were put forward by highways to the last area committee, unfortunately these project were not chose for the forth coming financial year. The clerk has obtain assurances that they will be resubmitted again for the next round of projects. However if people feel strongly then they should write to bruce.andrews@bradford,gov,uk to support these proposals. STC Meeting agenda for 8 Oct 2015 www.silsden.net/town_council/index.htm |

quoteDozens of cars parked out there yesterday, practically none in the car park? Late morning the car park was closed as we had a Christening b.ooked, hope they all parked on one side of the road. On the yellow line scenario we have said for the past 3 years if it gets approved by the Department of Transport we would help raise the money to have it done. |

They parked on the pavement on the opposite side from the grounds, and a few parked on the pavement on the grounds side. |

Thanks Peter, i just checked why, we had 7 teams at home x 2 for opponents + parents and supporters is a lot of cars, + we closed the car pak at 10.30. Apologies to all, looks like the double yellow lines are even mor important for road safety.... |

One car parked on the road when it could have had 2 wheels on the pavement(still leaving bags of room for prams, wheelchairs, pedestrians) and it was causing danger. |
