Silsden's Park Day - "A Grand Day Out" came about as an event to celebrate the wonderful facility we have inherited, which is Silsden Park. We also realised rather a lot went on in Silsden in July, and perhaps we should make more of it and publicise the events - The Grand de Party was born! The Grand Day Out in Silsden Park is one of those events. For the past few years the weather has not been kind to us on the day, BUT although the weather forecast for Wed, Thurs and Fri is for rain - on Saturday 1St July the weather forecast is for SUNSHINE. The day is organised by a small group of people who deserve your support, the events are free for the most part, but any small donations would be very welcome. Come to Silsden Park on Saturday with the family, and enjoy. Don't forget your picnic.
