I did not know that you can now buy fresh fish in silsden from a van by the cobbydale club! its from whitby and he is there every tuesday from about 9am till 2ish apparantley he has been coming for about a year, I obviously have not been going to silsden on a tuesday!

I was down there getting my steak from Bradleys this morning and spotted the fish van.
We have just had two of his dressed crabs for lunch, and very nice they were too.

The chap from Whitby also does Saturday mornings in Ilkley, although last week he was in Silsden.

i tried him till he charged me £6.65p for a small dressed crabangrysad :( got one over twice size at tesco for a £5happy :)happy :)and skippy certainly wont use him at those priceslaugh :Dlaugh :Dlaugh :D

I bought natural smoked haddock which was a bit more than supermarket prices but this is the problem, small businesses cannot compete with the big boys.I will be having it for dinner tonight so hopefully it will be better than the supermarket stuff, if not I won't use him again

I bought sea bass and boneless kippers which was lovely but way more expensive than I imagined,cant afford to use him again.

well the smoked haddock was very nice, maybe I will try something else but not too often in view of price.I suppose he has to take into account his travelling expenses1
