this post has been edited 1 time(s) Yes, they are clearly trying to represent the town's interests but sadly they just get over-ruled by Bradford. (Also the Clerk should really get someone to proof-read the minutes before they are published - "before any more houses are build.[sic]" - twice. I volunteer my services if required.) |

I think Peters point, by including the meeting minutes, was to evidence part of the role and responsibility of an STC member. Many of us use this site to air our opinions, and sometimes, as I have done myself, to question the actions or decisions of the STC. As Peter and some others have pointed out, if we are not happy, we need to elect people who we believe could do the job better, or even put ourselves forward. All in all, I think STC members deserve credit for putting themselves forward and taking on such a difficult role where they put themselves in the firing line of others. Unfortunately, as pointed out by Jonno, no matter what stands the STC may make on issues, Bradford usually over-rule them anyway. |
