Good luck parking near barclays in cross hills.
The only car park is the co-op's and that can get quite full!

There is no branch of my bank in Silsden and it's never been a concern for me. So what if the bricks and mortar aren't here? Online banking wins.

I don't supposed it is any good petitioning Barclays, things looked bad when they reduced Banking hours some time ago ie closed on Wednesdays.
Re{- the I am all right jack corespondent
One should consider people trying to run businesses in these challenging times, also consider people who are not very mobile, having to travel to a bank, people without computors and remember some people like to deal with people in an open way face to face. Not like the people in offices who email the person at the next desk!
Unfortunately Silsden has really become a souless dormitory people always on their computots or sat in front of the TV.
The person whose bank is not in Silsden obviously knew that when He/She came here

Natwest bank is still here...and we own 80% of that, so just use them....or the Post Office, who do personal banking, including for Barclays customers, and other banks as well.

Hmmm, I take back what I said, I guess for people who want to use a branch it's a shame, but I have to say, branches only stay open if there is enough people using them "footfall" is the term. If this drops too low the branch's days are numbered for sure.

Withdrawing money is not a problem but if you bank with NatWest how long would it take a cheque to get from the CoOp to NatWest? Is The CoOp even in the clearing system? The requirements of domestic customers and business customers are not the same.
