Does anybody have any detailed information on what the development plans are for the site on Howden Road? A sign has appeared which reads: Site aquired by P.A. Snell & Sons Ltd A select development of 31 three and four bedroom homes Commence works summer 2006 -- Look forward to hearing any news or views on this. |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Marko, Heres what it says on the Snell website: NEW CLOSE MILLS, SILSDEN A select development of 31, three and four bedroomed houses. Offering a range of family accomodation over four different house types. Work is due to commence on this site in summer 2006, with the first house ready for occupation in early 2007. Probably more noddy boxes |

It would be nice to see some affordable houses for the first-time buyers in Silsden. With the gigantic price rises in houses in the town in the past few years what chance have they got? |
