The forecast doesn't look too bad for the morning, so lets hope all the lights are down by then. If there are enough helpers they could well be. |

The lights have been taken down today, I would like to give a great thanks to all the volunteers who turn out in less than great weather to enable us to complete the task so quickly. Also a big thank you to the shops who allowed us to use their electricity. not forgetting the red lion for providing the meal. To quote from something I read recently, "Volunteers are paid nothing; not because they are worthless but because they are priceless." Silsden is lucky to have them. |

The quote Volunteers are not paid. Someone once told me that volunteers are paid nothing, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless. So true. |

Sorry, I suffered from fumble fingers, it had been a busy day. If you look I have corrected it now. The sentiment is still there though. |
