This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

New to this so please bear with me.
I am having a bungalow built for my old mum and dad. Planning permission is through and it is going to be predominantly stone built. I want to use a local builder if at all possible with a sound reputation and ideally i would like to look at something they have built.
I have two names sourced locally from a local old lad of some repute (well that's what he tells me!!)I would ideally like another two if at all possible as it is going to tender.
Local is probably as far as Steeton/Bradley/Addingham/Sutton or so but ideally Silsden.
Thanks very much and i appreciate any information you can provide.
Regards

I would recommend David Bradshaw. He has a number of extensions/new houses in the Silsden area to his name.Like all the best builders he is usually very busy but if you enquire he will tell you if he can fit the work in

Hi Gazzer
He has been recommended to me and was in my original two that i mentioned.
He is busy as you say but i am prepared to wait to get the balance of quality, price and completed on time (whenever the start time may be)
Thanks, i really appreciate the help from you and others.
Want to get it right
Cheers
