Hi A few weeks ago a army of men came to dig a hole and repair an electrical fault to a sign opposite Chicago hut by the seats. For many years I have cleared the manhole that takes all the water from the Punch Bowl car park and all the water that runs down that street, if its kept clear we have no problem. However, not any more,no, the numpties who came and tarmacked the hole decided to fill in the drain as well,! the result is we now have a flood, and people walking into the road, our disabled in electric wheel chairs having to drive around the pool of water trying to cross over the corner to get to the paper shop etc are now facing on coming traffic. Does anyone know how to get the numpties back to re open the drain.? I have reported this to the council but up to press no one has been to sort it,do we have to wait for a accident before something is done?. Rosco |
