Just seen that these homes are to be three and four bedroom house so this will only mean more families needing child places in out already full schools. More cars in and out of silsden as they will all be working outside of silsden too. Dont we need more affordable homes for local people even some bungalows for the ones who wish to down size or retire to silsden who would at least shop with in silsden too. |

The following graphic is taken from the Silsden 2012 Survey. 1102 people completed the questionnaire (so a good proportion of the population / families of Silsden) - we would like low cost semi detached houses for local people. What are we getting? 4 and 5 bed expensive houses for families who will be working in Leeds. so why are our councillors not objecting to all this development more forcefully, seems like a free for all at the moment, maybe a lot of nods , winks and back handers!It is maybe time Silsden council stopped letting bradford walk all over us |

This isn't directed at you ginjo but the residents of Silsden in general. When was the last time YOU attended a Silsden Town Council meeting? It is the responsibility of all of us to support STC. They need our views and support on all matters which will affect the town - not just after there has been a flood, but before the flood, to prevent it happening in the first place. When something happens you don't like it is too late!
