in the nail thread Babba100 states I am entitled to my opinion (nothing wrong with that) but then in the abusive farmer thread Babba100 asks peter to close the thread which he does is this not a double standard we are all entitled to our own opinions not just Babba100 who if they do not like the way the thread is going ask for it to be closed (Stalin/Hiltler come to mind)  |

Lots of people with an opinion and no facts - it was a very one sided argument without the farmers side of the story. It seemed sensible to close it. |

I thought the "farmer" thread needed closing as well, too many wind-up merchants having a dig at people to get a reaction. |

stalin/hitler....  i think my ex-husband would agree.....seriously the context is the crux of this matter, and also the tone used... there is a fine line between commentary and abuse.... other than that, you are entitled to your opinion  |

(Stalin/Hiltler come to mind)? So was localman refering to me for closing the thread, or to the farmer, or to someone else? All goes to show you must be careful with the words you use. It can be easy to upset lots of people, perhaps unintentionally.  |
