Windows 10 is the best for you, as most things remain the same. So no need to save any programmes, photos etc. At one time you could download it for free. Not sure what else is on the market so best to stick to what you know I think. |

I uploaded windows 10 and couldn't get it off my pc fast enough. it had all sorts of issues, the main one being I couldn't attach documents to emails if its pre loaded I believe this isn't a problem, but as mine was an added on, it was. ive also been told that windows 10 is not as good as windows 7 and is mainly being promoted because it gives Microsoft better access to each individuals pc, so they can analyse what you do and then send that information to sellers who then target you, basically theyre spying on you .......... may be paranoia , bgr.com/2015/07/31/windows-10-upgrade-spying-how-to-opt-out/ |

You could try ubuntu which is a free linux operating system - even comes with wordprocessor included. |
