I see there is a planning notice outside the above requesting change of use from offices to one dwelling. At least this one will have planty of space around and room for several cars. |

Or if it got planning permission for change of use would it not make a case for demolition/rebuilding as part of a larger scheme if some dodgy deal transpired by someone/public body who owned an adjoining piece of land? |

Nope, just a member of the public who like everyone else finds out what Bradford Council have been upto after its a done deal. Not saying they have done anything wrong but as with everything BMDC it needs watching |

This application was approved by STC at the meeting held on 2 May 2013. There were no objections and it was seen as a benefit to Silsden as there would be less traffic entering Bolton Road opposite the busy Bell Square junction. Years ago when it was a proper functioning Police station the SGT and his family lived in the flat above. |

The more elderly amongst us regard this building as the "new" police station. The "old" one is near where the dyeworks used to be! |

Quite right nabend, the old police station was demolished to build the telephone exchange, which although well inside the border was called Steeton. (information not comment) |
