when we were kids in silsden most people kept the front streat and back streat around there house tidy now people step over rubbish in front of there own front doors as they get out of there cars |

Ted I think nothing of picking up a brush and sweeping the road and picking up litter around where I live. Since John Mac retired no one seams to bother. |

A litter free environment and tidy gardens set a good example for others to follow. Some of the gardens in the area look like pygmies might have set up home in them! |

agreed im forever picking up litter and beer cans in front of the house though i have seen people walk past and use our wheelie bin for rubbish (i dont mind as at least its not on the floor) |

Since i didn't want my family to live in a place with rubbish on streets, I went out picking rubbish up around where I live-the last thing we want is rats and bugs about! |

I think the litter thing started when Gordon Ramsay threw food in the river. What a stupid example to set to young people. |
