I thought somebody who is interested in the history of Silsden might like to see this.

I believe it is of 39 Kirkgate, now Twigg’s Newsagents? I am not sure of the year taken but I believe the lady is Mary Green or Roberts. The child could be my great grandfather Joe Roberts, later a councillor in Earby or his brother William. Sorry a bit vague on this! But I do know it was run as a fruit ( and veg ?) shop.
