great xmas bonanza last week, i felt a great sense of community spirit, things like this really do bring the town together, the organisers should be proud of themselves, it was an absolute joy to be a part of it, indeed i spent a great deal....doing my bit grandad. |

Jimbo, you don’t have to call me chief. I am just an ordinary block that happens to believe in Silsden. You use jargon in order to cover up any real meaning to what you have to say! What do you mean when you say Silsden is going to be pushed up to the next level? It is not a multi-storey car park this is out town you are talking about, it should not be pushed anywhere, instead it needs to be shown where it and it’s people can get to if they choose to got alone any particular path. By all means lead from the front but don’t think for one minute you can push from behind. I will read with interest about this 75,000 cheque, but the proof is in the eating, we have been promised allsorts of things in the passed only for them not to materialise, so lets just wait and see. |

jimbo - send me the press release and I will put it on the site for all to see.
Email address to send to at the foot of the page. Pictures to support the news would be nice. |

Well "jimbo" today is the day!
The Keighley News is out.
I've looked through it from cover to cover and can't find this £75k. Put me out of my misery tell me where it is!
The only thing that appears to be taking Silsden by storm are the heavy winds. Or is it gusts of hot air?
For once I hope I am wrong and you are right. So go one tell us all. |

ok you've got me. you've sussed me out, i appreciate your attempts to uncover me as a 'fraudster' and the image of you furiously rummaging through the KN will no doubt keep this smile on my face throughout the day. as for who i am, i am a silsdener in my early 20's, i have silsden at heart and want the best for this town, admittingly i could have gone about this in a better way but opted for the 'all guns blazing approach' my apologies. i am keen to get involved in activities and hope i can be forgiven regards |

"jimbo" you were sussed weeks ago.
As for rummaging through the KN forget it - not even seen it yet!
I know the reporter and was told days ago that there was no £75k. |

If you REALLY do care for Silsden "jimbo" do summat and not bull****.
There are really lots everyone can do, starting with a vacancy on the Town Council. |

Jimbo, alan is being generous when he says you are full of hot air. I believe you are full of bovine excreta, if as you say you have the town at heart then I look forward to seeing you helping take down the Christmas lights in January, date to be announced, followed by you application to join the town council, then you can go onto help with the scouts, youth club, plus many other very worthy causes. But just like your imaginary 75k, I won’t be holding my breath. |

your negativity doesnt surprise me grandad, the glass is always half empty with you isnt it. i am more than happy to help take down the lights, and if you could provide me with details on other events i could get involved in i would be very grateful. |

jimbo i am not being negative, if you bothered to read my posts you would see this, i am always suggesting ways that you can get involved in helping this town. where as all you ever do is talk a load of crap, promise allsorts but do nothing. as we have said before put up or shut up. |

I think the best thing for jimbo to join would be Silsdens majorettes and then we can all have a laugh at him on carnival day!! |
