Good news.It did not help congestion and allowed vehicles to speed through the Town. Also good news for shop keepers in their struggle to earn a living. |

Why can't we have a 20 mph limit on the rest of the town, except the A6034? |

The road through Crosshills has a 20mph limit, and that must be an A road. |

Calderdale Council look at A roads individually so do not see why Bradford will not
20mph speed limit information Where are the 20mph speed limit areas?
The 20mph speed limits will be introduced in all residential areas. The majority of main A and B roads will not have 20mph, but we will assess them individually. |

Walking by the pond adjacent to Isherwoods is a nightmare and parking cars on a bend that is narrow and dangerous, where mostly one lane has to give way to the other is utterly barmy.
With cars trying to park they regularly mount the pavement causing unsuspecting folk to scarper and likely trip over the paving and slope under the willow trees.
We don’t need the parking spaces back we need railings to protect folk.
Where also is the proof that businesses have been affected by their loss? Remember the post office moved to Twiggs’s knowingly that their where no parking spaces, other than round the corner on new Street.
I would also say that most of the business nearby also use New Street to park. There has also been quite a few businesses that have opened across the road such as the Chop Shop and the wine bar in the old Bank and others!
All these opened knowing that their is no clear parking outside or particularly close to the shops.
By the way ‘Siting’ is the most crucial part of success for just about any business.
There is also the argument that fewer parking spaces are needed as more people utilise home deliveries and even that provided by the pharmacies. Many folk I know, who use the pharmacy, Billalucis and even the Town Hall (so most shop services) walk.
Our Town needs to be unified and supported to be more pleasant a place to enjoy, and folk should be encouraged to walk for their good health and safety?
Everything is still close in Silsden, so most people can walk, though I agree that’s changing with the new developments.
I also have grave concern about the new school and the ‘real’ difficulties that parents and children will have walking to the new school.

Back to grid-locked town centre traffic chaos it is, nobody able to move forwards or backwards due to the re-opening of the beckside parking bays. Really, what half brained idiots keep making such stupid decisions on behalf of the towns residents!? |

yes so right, the few spaces that it was reduced down to temporary for a time, while the lights were father down the road was great, just enough to slow traffic down, now there are total blockages again. |
