This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

Your're right Alan Daft Question.

Just to clarify: I am a house husband, totally fed up with three hour wash cycles with a so called energy efficient automatic machine. Time management is much more important to me.

Therefore if anyone out the had a Twin tub washing machine they wish to sell.????????????????///

I agree we used to have one, excellent thing.

I took the motors out when we scrapped it to make a lathe happy :)

1.5 kg !!!! when even the basic automatic takes 5 kg. I think it is intended for caravanners and the like.

Our Bosch does a wash load within the hour without any problems.

Blimey Househusband, your washing pile must be huge by now . There's probably been a few available free from local Freecycle groups over the last two years. Might be worth you signing up and keeping an eye open there.

Retired but SWMBO still works so I do the washing. Bosch Automatic takes about one hour. Must be using wrong cycle or machine is duff if taking 3 hours!
