Not a surprise but none of the people who knock the Town Council have been bothered to stand. Thought chief critic Mr Mallinson would stand but then remembered you do not get a penny for being on the Town Council. Yes both Mallinson and Val carroll have shown there true colours! All talk but no do unless it puts money in their pockets. And to all the others that have knocked the Town council on here, you have now had your chance to step up to the plate and try to make a difference. Bbut you couldn't be bothered, so now on keep your gobs shut. |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Its not fair to say keep your gobs shut as there might be valid reasons why people did not or could not stand*. However critics should be mindful when having a go that the TC are doing a civic duty, and might not get everything right. *not including someone who lives in Silsden andworks for other Parish Councils but will not stand for or even attend Silsden TC. |

gazzer The keep you gobs shut was to those who would now claim that the Town Councillors are not democratically elected, just because there hasn't been an election held. |
