Ive been told that there's going to be a new build, called childrens centre phase 3..which between 2009-2011 there going to spend £1.8 million...for ages between 7-11 and give info to single mums and dads and help to familys...and something to do with surestart..its going to be built behind the fire station in silsden in front of the exsisting youth club....if all this is true then why dont they put the money into the youth club instead of a new build... and has it all been passed through silsden council...one good thing it must be good for the kids....does anyone know any other info..... |

If this is true then it's daft! It's not long since the Youth Center was refurbished and the MUG built. |

Alan it is no joke I have a copy of the suggested plans for the new build between the youth club and the fire station, there is supposed to be a public meeting going to be held somewhere on the 10Feb but they haven't said where it will be. If Bradford have some money for youth provision in Silsden then they should be making use of the buildings they already have not building new ones that will lay unused most of the time as is the youth club. |
