A friend of mine has had l letter from the doctors saying that Two doctors are leaving and it could be some time before they are replaced. It also says because of this it will take longer to get an appointment to see a doctor. Has anyone else had one of these letters ?. |

Don't want to be alarmist, but an elderly man wanted a consultation. The earliest available was a full calendar month away! |

If its important the receptionist will get you a triage call. I tried for my doctor a week or so ago and was told 5 weeks before they were opening appointments for him. They are desperately short of Doctors and the ones they have need to take holidays. The triage nurse rang me at 3.40 and I got a 4.00 appointment with Dr. Milbourn. I admit its not good, but its not all that bad either, you just have to persevere. |
