This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

I was just out on my lunch and noticed bright green (as in Neon) liquid coming out of a drain on the wall near the post office.

Not sure if this is all innocent or not?

I have got a picture but doesn't show how bright the liquid is, I will upload it shortly.

The entire top part of the duck pond is now light green in colour.

Update: image is located here www.brokenoath.net/personal/images/IMG_1779.JPG
Note the picture shows it as dull but it is in fact bright green.

What was the response?

I have some survey work to complete further upstream. Any discharge could have a negative impact on my work.

Just rang me back, they think it might be tracer dye which is harmless but they are ringing round now and double checking, if they have no luck he is going to pop up shortly and do some tests.

There was a van up near the co-op this morning working on one of manholes - if its tracer die it could be something to do with them - I believe it was some sort of survey company.

I think the same survey company were in Belton Road, looking into a manhole just around the corner as you turn in from Keighley Road.
Maybe all connected?
