Topic : Caravans on bottom field near by -pass |

Anybody know what is going on in the field.There are lots of caravans and toilets and even animals there - hopefully they are not travelling gypsies |

Maybe we should encourage these pikers to remain on site for the forseeable future & so prevent the construction of this obscene number of houses that we dont need. |

Such a lovely sight this morning, hazy sunshine on a spring morning broke up by the smoke from various pikey fires in the field. As it's not council land I would expect them to be here for quite a while so good luck to the football club and various businesses around the area |

Just a thought, could the caravans on Belton road be the camp site for the trials competition on the Nab.  |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) they're pikeys , 100 % . i've just been and padlocked all my stuff at my yard that's 2 miles away expect petty thefts to soar while they're there. more caravans than vehicles isn't a good sign, they've targeted that field and towed there, then gone back for more caravans to tow there, this will need a court injunction and bailiffs....... they could be there a while ...... actually Appleby is in June so they may well f### off then .......... |

This was posted on Silsden News about 20mins ago this morning:- WARNING: My stepdads yard next to the Riverside in Silsden just across from the train station was robbed of an estimated 20,000 worth of machinery last night, the trails where the machines had been dragged literally lead to the campsite behind the yard. People just be careful leaving Garages, Sheds etc open. |

Just 2 caravans and a horse left on the Belton Road caravan park. The rest left in convoy blowing their horns between 8 and 9 tonight. |

I noticed some caravans by the River Aire bridge but they have gone now , just a pile of rubbish left now. There are a lot of caravans by Homebase at Crossflatts |

Just in case there are others who do not know why, it was probably that they had passed their driving test after 1997, anyone who passed after 1997 must take further training and pass another test before they can tow a trailer. |
