Hoorah! I'm all for traffic calming etc, even sensible (not mount everest, square) speed bumps, but rumble strips in general just irritate the heck out of me. |

Yes, it is a bit of releif they are gone. Whilst I realise that traffic does need slowing down those strips were a tad extreme. |

They were extreme, dangerous and noisy. Gone never to return I hope. What a waste of money, I don't suppose anyone in Silsden got asked if they were required or asked for suggestions! |

Didn't they try traffic calming on that same stretch several years ago? infact the scars still there to prove it was another waste of money. Good old BMDC!! |
