This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

not seen or heard anything about this in the news or on police website, maybe someone might have seen something but if things never get reported how are people meant to help the police.I don't think the police website gives enough information about local crime. This is not the sort of thing we want happening in silsden

It used to be common place up on Keighley Gate. I haven't heard of anything like this for a couple of years now.

long hot nights like these always see an increase in anti social behaviour & general nuisance crime. ive seen burnt out cars down there before, its easy to get to & nice & quiet. they'll come over robin hood from keighley, dump the car & drive back in another. its way too easy to leave a car window or sunroof open at the moment

strange that there is still quite a bit of debris left including a bit of number plate and bits of car, I wonder why its not been cleared away, did the police and fire brigade get involved I wonder.Looking at it I would say maybe only one car set on fire and it rolled a bit .
