any news on this poor doggy? has he been reunited with his owners? apparently it is a legal requirement to inform the dog warden if you find a lost dog, presume someone has? |

As far as I know he's gone to Fleet Kennels at Queensbury, very strange he hasn't been claimed when he had a collar and lead on. |

How long can he stay at the kennels? |

I have just seen on facebook silsden news page, that someone is going to take him in as no owner has come forward, I think the kennels only keep dogs for 7 days so time is running out.Poor thing but at least he has been rescued |

By coincidence, because of hearing a number of dogs barking yesterday, I was reminded of the collection of dogs kept in a compound at the bottom of Sykes Lane some time ago, which caused controversy and suspicion at the time. It was the first time I have heard them for a good while.
The compound in question is about level with the filling station (on a distance from the canal basis). The informant mentioned the dog being in that locality and that it kept disappearing down a lane, which could mean towards the compound. One wonders whether the dog had escaped from that compound?
Might be worth a mention to the authorities, whoever is in touch with them. |
