Good afternoon. I was wondering if anyone lived on or around the Kent Avenue area as I'm considering moving onto the street. Were these houses previous council houses, and if so are are they still owned by the council or are they all privately owned? Any information would be greatly appreciated. |

Well i live on Kent Avenue, and have done for 10 years. Have you got any children? because its a good street for children to play and make friends. I find it quiet and i dont see/hear of much trouble. The gardens are all well kept (apart from my jungle... what can i say apart from i do try!!).. Nice people too. |

In regards to council/private ownership, i think most are privately owned (mine included) with a handful being council properties. Not that it matters much. |

All info helps thanks Julie. I was mainly trying to work out why the houses were so cheap, but then I found out that many are ex-council which can instantly put people off. I know Silsden fairly well though so I know it's not considered a bad area of the town. |
