The headline is from Keighley News
www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/8678954.Passengers_invited_to_bus__surgery__at_Keighley_bus_station/

He said (Ray Wilks): “We’ve had a couple of complaints, especially about the Fell Lane and Thwaites Brow services in Keighley being too overcrowded, but the majority of people have been praising the services.”

I guess if nobody knows about the meeting then most of the comments will be praising 'a wonderful Service'. Did you know about this meeting and have you got any complaints about our bus service?

absolutely not! it would be great if the hopper service was brought back, it used to run round waterside and up skipton road areas and was well used, there were two an hour at waterside now we have the jacksons bus which comes to waterside about 4 times a day. There was some talk of the 762 being routed up howden road but nothing more has been heard about that.Since free travel came in for over 60's it is hard to even get a seat on a bus which is annoying when you are paying full fare!I am really suprised that the governmet has not withdrawn the free travel for pensioners, it is costing a fortune which the country does not have. Most pensioners I know would be happy to pay a small amount like they did before.

go on...hammer the pensioners again...inflation hits pensioners more than others because inflation and other price rises are a higher % to them than others on normal wages. Take away all their perks, lock them away, and let them die in peace.
thanks, ginjo, have a nice day shocked 8O

The 762 service is very good. but 2 gripes.

Why does it not link with trains at both Silsden and Ilkley? I have been on the bus at Ilkley and seen the train pulling in as we pull out - they are timetabled for this to happen!

Why no link with services to Colne and Skiton at Steeton Top? - in both direction you can wait 20 mins in freezing conditions. Its more comfortable to go to Keighley to change - but what a waste of time!
