No this is not a wind up or an april fool. I saw a white bunny in our garden tonight. Looked a bit mucky but unharmed. Could have been an escaped pet rabbit. Tried to catch it but it was too nippy and dashed off under my next doors hedge.

Anyone's rabbit gone missing? If so try looking in the Hillcrest Avenue area.

thanks for the edit Peter...contact details further down the page.

a) you can't just eat it it might be someone's pet

b) you'd never catch it, it's too fast for me and my kids!

c) it's white all over so it's unlikely to be a wild rabbit

d) I asked it the time but it didn't stop to tell me

e) profit!?!

Jonno this is a serious suggestion.

My daughter keeps rabbits and stuff. Her and my son are expert escaped rabbit and guinea pig hunters wink ;)

Need any help, let me know. Last one they captured was a neighbours guinea pig that had been living rough after escaping for six months.

Thanks Alan,

I've made this page www.johnhenson.co.uk/rabbit.htm
with pictures and contact details.

as I type it's busy eating our flowers in the front garden, lol. It seems quite happy and we've put water and food out for it so we're not going to try capturing it again. Let it have it's adventure happy :)

heh,

our bunny pal belongs to our neighbours up the road a bit. they let him wander in their yard an he's never tried to get out before. guess he just got some wanderlust.

He's still here, he just nips home for a kip and some grub when he's tired/hungry, I find it most amusing really.
