This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

I was sat in my car waiting to move off, when I spotted them, I was expecting them to take me out as I was sure they wouldn't spot me and wide enough and then wait for an ambulance to take me to Airedale.

With this and a few weeks ago I bump drafted all the way through town by and Audi A6 who then tried to ram me off the road (I had to take evasive action) overtaking over the bridge on Bolton Road where is narrowed off.

Then there are the speeding cars every evening and weekend around town, Silsden is slowly but surely turning into a race track. It's just a matter of time before there is a serious accident

As a biker. I am always aware of the behaviour of other road users. Audis have replaced BMWs as the most aggressively driven cars on the road. I also give a wide berth to any driver wearing a hat, baseball or trilby, and any car with music coming out of it audible when wearing a crash helmet.
If anyone hassles you, slow down or pull in and let them pass and hassle someone else.
Trouble is,as has been evidenced most days on the new road, the traffic police would rather sit around in a 30 grand BMW or Audi and catch people whose tax has run out than actively pursue bad drivers. And they haven't even got the common sense to do the same on the old road and nab people giving them the slip.
