well police presence and a few tickets dished out on the last 2 sundays has sorted this problem no cars on the pavement or parked both sides of road, why could'nt people use those things called legs and not park on top of the place, there is more than ample parking all the way up belton rd etchappy :)

Think the only ones who got a ticket were parked on the pavement.

The rest were parked quite sensibly at the kerb.

I visited the ground on sunday and had to park the furthest up belton road i have ever had to park!
It made it worth the walk to see the lazy sod's getting tickets.
How the silver vitara (sponsored by appleyards) avoided a ticket is beyond belief. It had obviously gone up belton road, thought it too far to walk, headed back towards the main road and decided to park on the left just as you pull back onto the main road near the small traffic island. A passat, quite a large car, had to manouvere between the vitara and the bollards on the island at a snails pace, it was that tight!!
(i was with spanish omelette so he know's who i am now and i called him a crash mat on here the other day!!) wink ;)

I thought there was a deal done for parking in Habbisit? Is that not the case.

Nice to see that the vast majority though were parked sensibly.

We are allowed to park in habasit and i would probably have been nearer had i driven on to habasit! I don't mind the extra 2 minute walk though either way.

wouldnt it be sensible if the football club made a sign pointing the way to their arranged parking, and not left every man to himself? after all these people are VISITORS and probably dont now about the parking arrangments, come on guys get a bloody grip and shape yourselvessad :(

come on skippy, read the afc website!! tonnes of warnings and directions of where to park.note the cars were visitors not home teams, and before you say not everyone has a computer, it is NOT the club's responsibility, they are doing their best, just as you would not be responsible for someone parking outside your house... the law states the onus is on the driver....give the club a break.......or volunteer to go down on a sunday and direct the traffic to the appropriate carparks!!!!
AND can't people take responsibility for themselves any more, does it ALWAYS have to be someone's fault, as long as it's not their own eh?

skippy - where do you suggest we put the signs? They even ignore police cones! While they are visitors, they are ALL told where to park and where not to park.
How about me and you, on the gate, next sunday?

Alan - They (opposing managers) are told over the phone EVERYTIME we phone up with our K.O time. THEY should then tell parents and family members where to park, no need for any kind of technology other than a phone wink ;)

i don't know who you asked skippy. EVERYBODY at the club know where they can and can't park (not just at habasit). If you watched the U17's the manger knows.
Did you tell the odd 1 that doesn't know where they should have parked? wether you did or not,I bet they still park in the same place next week!!, which is my whole point - some people won't listen.
So what do you think then, me and you next week?
