As my post on the snow update was not found to be acceptable then here it is on it's own post....... Can I just thank the ignorant 4x4 chappy who gave me lip for struggling to get up Cornwall Avenue... I could not go up and the car did not want to role back either, so got out to walk home and get son to help dig me out. The 4x4 driver rolled down his window and got abusive/sarcastic about blocking the road off, no attempt to get out and help.... But thanks goes out to ROOFRACK... Thanks for getting the car back home for me. How very different the attitude of neighbours can be, by the way roofrack is not a 4x4 driver so maybe that has somthing to do with it???? And by the way... the bit about 4x4 drivers is a personal observation of the attitude of two drivers, followed by a question not an accusation or paranoia. I take it from your response in the other thread Alan that you actually believe the abusive attitude of the 4x4 driver was acceptable? |

It was a lone 4x4 parked in the middle of the Co-Operative car park this morning that was preventing the Co-Operative delivery wagon from getting out though! |

Hah! I'm jumping in to say I have nothing against 4x4 drivers who can actually drive them! Last Sunday I was stuck behind one who clearly didn't have a clue how to drive in the snow and was just spinning all four wheels when my two were getting me up the hill just fine! (so ya boo sucks to Alan.... I kid, I kid...) |

Exactly... you just responded to that part of it..... And continue to do so.. Something on the lines of... That sounds outrageous behaviour, but please don't label all 4x4 drivers by his standards... Now that demonstrates empathy to my plight and judgement on my 4x4 comment |

Allan you know the person very well bogey is on about and i do not think he was agresive we know he can be a pratt at times i recon she must have given him some lip or im sure he would have towed her out  |

Yep, there's always two sides gg  I once got abuse off a person I offered to tow out of a flood because I asked them to tie the rope to their own car! They said I should 'cos they would get wet! Needless to say they stayed where they were |

I then asked him if he would like to be helpful and try move it, to which he tossed his head back and replied "Helpfull, you must be F&%$ing joking"..... and stuck his car in reverse. By the way Greengrass if you think I'm complaining about roofrack you are mistaken, he was very helpfull. |
