Whilst wandering the streets of Silsden it suddenly came to me that this is an ideal wedding village. Here is my reasoning: 2 Shops to buy your wedding dresses from. More hairdressers than you can shake a stick at to have your hair done for the big day. Several tanning salons to give you that bronzed "healthy" look 2 flower shops for your floral decorations A choice of 3 churches for the service 3 Clubs and 5 Pubs for your reception. 2 Banks so you can get a loan to pay for the wedding. A shed load of estate agents to get you on the first rung of the property ladder. A travel agents to book the honeymoon Jacksons for the limo hire And finally oodles of Solicitor so you can sort out the divorce. So all in all Silsden is the Ideal one stop wedding town. Perhaps Bradford Met should consider this as a tourism marketing campaign !!!!!!! |
