Can anyone tell me why yellow lines were not put down on the bend to Clogg Bridge. This morning we have cars parking on the bend in the road,where the cobble sets are, causing problem to drivers on both sides of the road. I have been driving now for over 60yr and still use common sense when I am on the road, but the modern drivers who no doubt went thru a driving school seem to all have there own rules when they are on the road. |

i dont know if there are solid lines in the middle of the road but if there is you cant park wether there are yellow lines or not ,same down over the bridge towards steeton solid lines no parking and there are no yellow lines down past chip shop for a short way. |

I saw those cars this morning and wondered what was happening, the yellow lines stop about the fifteen feet from the corner which I have always assumed was the point at which you cannot park. Immediately opposite, the yellow line and faded sign have been replaced, however most days there are cars parked there. The traffic wardens don’t seem interested in Silsden except on Elliott Street. |
