This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

I understand any travel between 16:01 and 18:29 is no longer regarded as off peak, this is to avoid shoppers travelling at the same time as those trying to get home from work.

Great own-goal Northern Rail. We as a familiar have always used the train when we go to Leeds. Looks like in the future we'll be going in the car. I dare say there will be many other families that will be doing the same.

Buy. Family day rover. 11.40 for a family of two adults and up to three children. All buses and trains in west Yorkshire. The best way of getting to leeds cheaply. I'm sure they will go up soon too, but still a much cheaper way to travel.

Peak times apply only on weekdays, so if travelling as a family (school holidays exempting) the new restrictions will not make any difference.

I would check if you can use a day rover during the new midweek peak period, I do not think you can

Your right, no Day Rovers during the new peak times.
