this years market is on sun 28th nov. briggate and this time the town hall, all procceeds are going to evans journey so lets see you all out and supporting such a wonderful cause. |

As well as the outdoor market we are taking over the Town Hall with SANTA ,HOT DRINKS AND EXTRA STALLS,so don`t forget the start of Christmas is Sunday 28th November. BIG LIGHT UP OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE MEMORIAL GARDENS LATER IN THE DAY. `JOIN US - JOIN IN` |

There is now a plug on the post for our power supply to the tree lights, so all is looking good for the tree switch on. I still can't see the fence for it yet though. I do hope they are wrong with the weather forecast, two degrees and snow is not what we need, when we are putting up the lights, or when the market is on. Still; come all, and see the entertainment, you can even help if you need to get warmed up! |

grandad the fence will be in place by the end of the week, bilbo 10 am till 4pm , and santa will be in the town hall throughout the day. please all come and support the market and evans journey. 50 stalls now booked ,hope the weather doesnot put anybody off. |

You dont want snow at a Christmas Market ? What could be more Christmassy ?? (plus, from what I hear - it could be VERY Christmassy). Really looking forward to it. Let's hope the whole community come along - whatever the weather! |

Santa's 'larger' helpers made the tree just right for Evan to turn the lights on.  Just right!  ..and snow lay all around....  ...but some were a little warmer in the Town Hall.  ...and Santa was a big hit...  |

Well done everybody, who worked so hard to make this years lights display so wonderful, the tree is magnificent!! the still photo doesn't do justice to it, can some one take a movie of it and put it on this page? Please. I'll bet there isn't a tree as good within a hundred miles of silsden. And next year should be even better. |

Over £500 raised for Evans Big Journey from the Gala committee,not sure what the Refreshmants took in the Town Hall yet.Well done to all who supported us,was a good day and that tree realy is pretty grand!!Well done Silsden!!!! |
