Not sure about that as they seem to have uncovered a fireplace - there weren't many inside anyway. |

Thank you for that comment dodzi .. Yes we opened last night after a lot of running around still a few bits to sort out but we had a lovely reception from the customers We welcome customers old and new we are child and dog friendly it was also nice to be introduced to some of the biking club from silsden we av a selection of lagers bitter cider and cask ales available but as for the piss heads as referred to in a earlier comment they won't be tolerated so afraid they are going to av to stop where they are lol |

I called into the Lion yesterday and a it's definite thumbs up from me. Good range of beers, nice decor, excellent pool room, it's out of the way of those who disapprove of pool-tables in the bar. And Danni, who is managing the Lion on behalf of her dad, is a really canny lass, she is actually friendly to the customers. this post has been edited 1 time(s) quotewhat hand pulled beer do they have? We try to keep locally sourced hand pulls like Naylors and copper dragon but also supply theakstons We are also interested in knowing what the customers like Hope this helps ... All cask ale is charged at £2.50 per pint |

I drink draught guinness, which is spot on in the Lion, and when Danny pulls a pint you don't get loads over the outside of the glass which is a blessing. I have noticed they sell draught Theakstons and there are a couple more beers on tap. Ginjo this is a pub well worth visiting, oh and the prices are very canny too |
