Just been up Low lane and there is a big fire either at the caravan park or in the farm next door. Hope everyone is ok up there |

A wagon caught fire at Wainmans Farm, thankfully no one hurt. |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Fire crews are tackling a blaze at a caravan site in Silsden. Shortly after 2pm the fire service received reports of an incident at Wainmans of Silsden, on Foster Cliff Farm, Low Lane. Farm buildings and a number of tyres were reported to be on fire and appliances were sent from Keighley, Bingley, Shipley, Silsden and Skipton to help tackle the blaze and stop it spreading. www.westyorksfire.gov.uk/incidents/1305 |

According to Keighley news the fire service sent an engine from Keighley who then asked for more fire engines including Silsden. I wonder if the initial reports it was a skip fire was used as a decision maker. It fits in with reducing Silsden fire cover!! |
