been on a mans walk today (not wimps walks round flat reservoirs) up penyghent still 6ft drifts up there ,but im going to be truthful we only got 1/2 way up ran out of time,going to do it again when snow gone very hard work walking through drifts etc |

last time i went up peny y ghent we were on our way back down by about 10.30 some old guy said what you gonna do rest of the day i said other stuff get up there early = clear roads less people about mountain to yourself |
